Can u survive huge tsunami by riding a rubber raft boat before just before tsunami hits the ground?

u are on land when u see tsunami coming from a distance. U run to a rubber raft boat, get on it & when tsunami hits the land u float above the furious tsunami while everything submerges. Will it work like this?
