I believe that Hillary has a better chance of beating McCain. Alot of the states that Obama has won have been red states, so most likely those will go to Obama. Hillary has a larger base of the Democratic voters--the Hispanics, the blue collar workers, the Jewish vote,etc. Obama's voters are the youth, the so called "educated" and the Black vote (of which he has received 92% of the Black vote).
