Now that I have a computer, I'm bored. I have no idea what sites to visit. Please help!?

I like music, entertainment gossip and have been looking at the personals, but I still am bored. I know there are people that spend hours on the internet. I guess I'm one of these persons the bug has not bit. I don't even know how to work the chat rooms. I use a computer everyday at work, but my personal computer has me perplexed.
