Looking for debt advice?

I am really struggling with money at the moment and my debt is getting on top of me. I realise that it is my own fault that I have debt and am trying my best to keep on top of things but it is really getting me down. I am always worrying about money (as is everyone in the current climate) and am looking for some advice as to where to go or who is the best person to speak to about debt. There are so many companies out there wanting to consolidate your debt but I'm not sure if they have 'hidden agendas' and am worried that I could end up in more debt. Can anyone help me please?
