My future mother in law hates me!?

i had a 30th birhday party,and all my friends and family were there,everyone was happy until my future m in law disside 2 get very drunk and started screamin how she hated me neva liked me,and how i was not good enough 4 er son...who is in prison.i have no idea why she feels like this as i thought we got on i have always been very polite around her.my main prob is all this happened in february,we have not spoken since,but her other family think i should forget it and forgive her,which i dont think i can as it really hurt me and also i have a son and i dont no weather or not i should let er see him knowin how she feels about me...help!
