I have not filed a tax return in 5 years, how do i go about this, will i be penalised?

"wrxbabe" above is pretty well on the money. My only other piece of advice would be to go to a rgistered tax agent and have everything sorted. It may cost you initially, but at least they will help you work through everything and make sure nothing is missed.
