I like rock music! But not screamo... Can you help me?

I love music. None of my friends share my love for rock so its difficult to come upon new songs. I like songs by sugar cult and some by meg and dia, but new and good songs are hard to come upon. Another thing is that i don't mind if they are old but good. They could be from 2000 I don't care as long as they are great!
