Java vs. Flash for multiplayer games?

both are easier and more accessable.. in some cases.. some dont want java... they prefer flash... there are many new plugins developed base on flash.. that are more lighter than before.. gaming are now easy with flash (actionscripting).. flash doesnt consume too much load than java.. maybe java run faster with solaris, but flash run faster with windows.. coz java runs with virtual machine in windows... that consume loads..
