Legitimacy of the IMAGE of Jesus?
Please read this, I am not asking "Why do people worship Jesus", but why do they worship the public image? The public image of "Jesus Christ" is completely constructed from the image of Cesare Borgia. Cesare Borgia and the Borgia family were one of the most corrupt people in Papal history, upon Cesare's death no one even wanted to accept Cesare in a burial place, even his tomb was later destroyed by a Bishop. Cesare, a man of corruption, lust, murder, used as the image of Jesus? I have never seen any devout Christians or Catholics ever dispute the image of Jesus, or even any of them who know who Cesare Borgia is. There is also many similarities between the two (beside the copy/pasted image) they died in their 30's, born/lived in Rome, etc. could this have been copied as well? Jesus did exist, but having 99.9% of churches/homes with this false image is idolatry. A few of my Christian friends believe in Jesus but do not worship this image.
